This year we will be hosting 2 Appleseed events at the outdoor range. The dates are on the calendar and all registration is done on the appleseed web page. From their website at http://www.appleseedinfo.org/index.html Our rifle marksmanship program complements our history and heritage. We teach the traditional American marksmanship skills.

We have decided to change the rules on shotguns
Please use the backboards for slugs all other shotgun loads are okay to fire into the bank next to the backboard. Our backboards are getting shot up quickly by shotgun loads so not trying to cut down a post with your scattergun will help us all out.
Please check the calendar for upcoming events as we sure have a bunch on the schedule.
This year the club will again be used by local Law Enforcement.
Please take a look at the calendar before you head to the range to see if we have closed a portion of the range you use. You may have to use a different pit or portion of the range but you will be able to shoot somewhere on the range.
We have streamlined the membership process a bit for 2012.
We will now only require the safety video to be viewed if you are new to the club or have a lapse in membership of 1 year. All current 2011 members do not need to watch the video again. If the incidents of rules violations increase we will be forced to change the rules back. Please do not waste this opportunity by violating the range rules.
We have always allowed you to bring guests to the range
but in consideration of safety we will only allow you to have a maximum of 2 guest shooters per member shooting. Bring all you want but please only have 2 at a time shooting. |
